PHILIPS MALAYSIA SDN BHD is again joining forces with Motorsportchannel.com to host the PHILIPS F1 Online Contest 2008! As with the previous year's edition, any F1 enthusiasts, AT&T WILLIAMS team supporters and Malaysians aged 18 and above have a shot at winning exclusive PHILIPS prizes... such as a 32" Philips LCD TV, a Philips Home Theater System, a Micro Hi-Fi and Philips Shavers RQ1090, HQ7390 (to be launched), HQ9090 and HQ5710.

The Philips online contest has two categories, the 1-RUN RACE (each Formula 1 round) and the CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND. The 1-RUN RACE will start with Round 5 of the Formula One Championship (Turkish Grand Prix, 9 - 11 May 2008) and the last being the Chinese Grand Prix (17 - 19 October 2008) while the CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND is the last Formula 1 round, the Brazilian Grand Prix (31 October - 2 November 2008).

How To Win In The 1-RUN RACE: Answer two (2) simple questions and predict the qualifying position of one of the AT&T Williams team drivers (either Nico Rosberg or Kazuki Nakajima) correctly and include a creative slogan for tie-breaker purposes.

Three (3) participants with the correct answers and prediction, along with the best slogan will win a Philips shaver HQ5710 each.

Participants can enter only once for each 1-RUN RACE (Formula 1 round). However, every participant is encouraged to participate in at least 8 rounds in order to be a Loyalist and eligible to win the Grand Prizes of a Philips LCD TV, Home Theater System and the Micro Hi-Fi during the CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND.

How To Win In The CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND: Answer the questions correctly, give your prediction and provide the best slogan to be in running for Grand Prizes. Winners will not be judged based on the previous entries. Participants will be categorized as the Loyalist and the Casual Participants (participants with less than 8 entries throughout the season).

The Loyalist with the correct answers, the closest predictions and the best slogan will win the 32" Philips LCD TV, the second best entry wins a Philips Home Theater System while third place gets a Micro Hi-Fi. All three top winners also go home with a Philips Arcitect shaver RQ1090 worth RM999. Subsequent seven Loyalist will receive a consolation prize of Philips Shaver HQ7390 each.

Five Casual Participants* with the correct answers, the correct or closest predictions and the best slogan during the CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND will win a Philips shaver HQ9090 each.

No purchase is required for all entries, participants are only required to answer a few questions and provide their predictions after they have registered themselves with a valid identity according to their MyKad. A tie-breaker is required in case of a draw.

Registration for all contests opens one (1) week before the race event and ends every Saturday at 11:59am (GMT +8:00 Malaysia / Singapore / Hong Kong) of the race weekend prior to Sunday’s race.

All winners will be notified via email within fourteen (14) days after the race on when and where to collect their prize(s). A winners list will be published on www.motorsportchannel.com.

This contest is open to all Malaysians aged 18 and above except staff of Philips Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Philips dealers and Motorsport Media staff.

No purchase is required to participate.

All forms must be filled. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.

Each person is eligible to submit one entry for each 1-RUN RACE contest. Additional entries by the same person on the same weekend will lead to a disqualification.

At each round, if no participant answers all the questions correctly, there will be no winners.

Each person must participate at least 8 times in order to be a Loyalist and eligible to win the top 3 Grand Prizes. Otherwise, the person shall be deemed as Casual Participant.

The winners (Loyalist) of the Grand Prizes in the CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND is not judged based on any accumulation of points or prizes won in previous rounds. All Loyalist have a fair chance to win the Grand Prizes.

Motorsport Media & Philips Malaysia has the right to withdraw the contest or change the terms & conditions of the contest without prior notice.

Motorsport Media & Philips Malaysia has the right to change the prizes with another prize of a similar value at it's own discretion.

By participating in this contest, winners agree to be photographed and have their name and photograph published in the media.

The results of the contests are final and non-negotiable.
