The new car, built by Porsche Motorsport in Weissach, Germany, boasts a 420bhp engine, an increase of 20bhp over the current model, additional torque, and an upgraded gearbox. Design modifications, which combined with the engine upgrades will further enhance performance ensuring even faster and more exciting racing next season, include the bumper panel from the GT3 road car at the rear.
Demand for the 18 available cars is expected to be high, with a number of potential new drivers hoping to join what has quickly become the pinnacle of professional sportscar racing in the region next year.
