Porsche Carrera Cup Asia returns to Rounds 5 & 6 action at Fuji

 2015 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia start at Korea International Circuit Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA) continues with Rounds 5 and 6 at the Fuji Speedway, Japan this weekend. After four rounds, Clearwater Racing’s Craig Baird leads the overall Drivers standings with 70 points from Chris van der Drift with 59 points and Ro Charlz Skyangel, 41 points. Nico Menzel and veteran Rodolfo Avila are in the running as well, with 38 and 37 points respectively. As always, the PCCA field has 28 drivers in both Class A and B.

Bamber retains Title at exciting PCCA finale

 2014 PCCA Earl Bamber retains title Reigning Champion Earl Bamber has successfully defended his crown from rival Martin Ragginger at the PCCA (Porsche Carrera Cup Asia) finale in Shanghai, thanks to defining victories in the Rounds 11 and 12. Ragginger remains a runner-up in the final drivers’ standings for a second straight year. The Austrian only managed a third and second in the two races. Third placing Alexandre Imperatori affirmed his standings behind the first two drivers, with second and third place finishes in the two races.

PCCA Round 10: Bamber storms to victory to strengthen grip in Drivers’ standings

  Current PCCA (Porsche Carrera Cup Asia) Series leader Earl Bamber captured a stomping victory at the street circuit of Marina Bay on Sunday. The Round 10 PCCA saw Bamber blast off from sixth on the grid to win it 4.8 seconds ahead of his championship rival Martin Ragginger and pole starter Alexandre Imperatori.

Bamber storms to first Porsche Carrera Cup Asia title at Shanghai

logo-ms At the penultimate round 11 of the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, Earl Bamber grabbed his very first PCCA Championship on the back of a pole to flag victory at the Shanghai International Circuit. Bamber, on his way to a sixth win of the year, also posted the fastest lap of the 12-lap race at the Formula 1 track, beating title rivals Alexandre Imperatori and Martin Ragginger.

Ragginger and Ho-Pin Tung take a victory apiece at PCCA’s debut in South Korea

 2013 PCCA Rd 9 Martin Ragginger tales win at Inje Speedium circuit Rounds 8 of the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia at the brand new Inje Speedium International Circuit in South Korea over the weekend saw Chinese driver Ho Pin Tung capture his very first victory in the series. Round 9 was won by the former PCCA championship drivers’ standings leader Martin Ragginger.
