|FXOpen Drift, the rival series to the Formula Drift Asia series and Goodyear International Drift series, recently held a party to endorse the 2011 FXOpen Drift series which is slated for March at a local party joint in Kuala Lumpur.|
The Drift party saw an encouraging turn-out of domestic drifters, drift queens, sponsors and invited guests. As a World’s leading FOREX brokerage firm, FXOpen also happens to be the title sponsor of the third largest drift competition in Malaysia. The FXOpen drift series which kicked off in late 2009 has witnessed strong support from top Malaysian drifters, which included Tengku Djan and his Federation D maestros, Ser Ming Hui, Ee Yoong Chern and many more.
Former Team Goodyear Malaysia driver Johan Norman now the representative of FXOpen Drift started the night’s activities with a brief opening remark. The night followed with an autograph and photo sessions with top drifters and drift queens, plus a whole repertoire of special performances by chic female dancers. Additionally, there were loads of lucky draws and freebies provided to guests and attendees.
“The party is meant for FXOpen participants and invitees. We also took the opportunity to announce our plans for the 2011 series which should be better than previous editions,” commented Denis Peganov, FXOpen Development Director.
In line with its Corporate endeavors, FXOpen has always backed the active youth to promote a healthy community sporting activity and support these activities earnestly. FXOpen discovered that drifting is indefinitely one of the most popular motorsports or enthusiasts’ sports in the country since 2008. The Sponsorship initiative was presented to the firm back in ’09, and without much hesitation, FXOpen jumped on board to be the title sponsor and work with an organizer to hold the annual FXOpen Drift series. In addition, the firm affirmed that drifting also correlates to its business interests.
