Honda Civic Hybrid now equipped with Reverse Camera and HFT

 Honda Civic Hybrid The Honda Civic Hybrid is now equipped with a reverse camera and Hands-Free Telephone (HFT) system, as announced by Honda Malaysia.

Based on the ninth-generation Civic, the Hybrid version is a huge contributor to Honda Malaysia’s sales of its hybrid line-up.

With the Reverse Camera, the driver of a Honda Civic Hybid is assured of utmost safety when it comes to parking, thanks to the camera’s effective elimination of blind spots and acute assistance.

Driving the Honda Civic Hybrid is now greatly enhanced with the addition of the HFT system. The HFT system makes it easier to answer and make phone calls on the go.

Both reverse camera and HFT system are integrated to the Civic’s intelligent Multi-Information Display (i-MID), which enables drivers to access the information without taking their eyes off the road.

The Honda Civic Hybrid takes up the concept of “Advanced Smart Hybrid Sedan” and is the first variant in Honda’s Hybrid line-up that comes with the premium stance; Smart Entry and Push Start button. It is also the first hybrid variant in the country to be fitted with lithium-ion battery. The variant is shipped from Honda’s Thailand plant, which meant it is a CBU (Completely-built Up) variant.

Sales have been brisk for the Honda Hybrid line-up as Honda Malaysia has now increased number of units of the Honda Civic Hybrid of up to 270 monthly, which constitutes 3,200 unit for the year from 1,200 units last year.

The Civic Hybrid is available in White Orchid Pearl, Frosty White Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl at a retail price of RM 119,980 (launch price) OTR, including 5-year unlimited warranty, extended maintenance and free labor services for up to 6 visits until 100,000km, with terms & conditions.
