Honda Malaysia maintained first position in the Non-National Passenger Vehicle Segment for the month of January with delivery of 6,522 units. The increased sales was contributed mainly by the City and Jazz, as well as the Civic and Accord.
Honda HR-V’s waiting period has just gone up to 4 months
Available in three grade package, the Honda HR-V is offered in V, S and E versions. The Honda HR-V V-grade takes up the bulk of the 7,000 bookings with 65 percent, followed by the S and E versions at 15 and 20 percent. The record sales month has led to a four-month waiting period for the HR-V as Honda Malaysia is now undertaking a revised production schedule at its no.2 line plant in Pegoh, Malacca. Therefore, potential buyers would have to be a little patience. The good news is Honda M’sia is able to promptly revise the production plan and is striving to cut the HR-V’s waiting duration without sacrificing on the vehicle’s quality.
