Currently in its sixth generation, the Lexus ES presents the Japanese Luxury marque’s “Neo Luxury & Neo Smart” sentiment. The Lexus ES is presented with the marque’s signature elements; from the recognizable spindle grille with DRLs (daytime running lights) to unique 17-inch multi-spoke wheels.
The Lexus ES really sets itself apart on the inside, compared to the Continental counterparts. Comparative to the IS and GS variants’ interiors, the ES has a masterfully crafted interior as well as a rather plush cabin with more than adequate space and class-leading leg room. Its interior appointments include exquisite leather seats, ventilated front seats, a rear armrest controller, touchscreen display and plenty more Lexus exclusives. For the ES 300h, the interior receives the highest degree of craftsmanship, and it is the sole version to come with the amazing Mark Levinson 12-channel Multimedia Audio System that boasts 15 speakers for an out-of-this-world audio and visual experience.
The ES250 and ES250 Luxury are powered by an able 2.5-liter 4C 16V DOHC engine, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, that churns 181hp and 235Nm of torque. On the other hand, the top-of-the-line ES300h has two electric motors and when combined with the petrol engine, the luxury sedan powers up to 158bhp and 213Nm of torque.
Lexus Malaysia has revised the price list of the Lexus ES for the year. Previously, the ES price range goes from RM 259,800 up till 353,000. Now, the price range runs from RM 259,200 till 355,100, all prices do not include insurance.
