Porsche WEC concludes season with victory and first title

2015-WEC-Bahrain-Romain-Dumas The WEC (World Endurance CHampionship) Season Finale at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) saw the Porsche WEC drivers Romain Dumas, Neel Jani and Marc Lieb win the 199-lap 6-hour endurance, ahead of Audi’s Marcel Fassler, Andre Lotterer and Benoit Treluyer. However, it was the Porsche WEC trio of Mark Webber, Brendon Hartley and Timo Bernhard who celebrated the 2015 WEC Drivers title. Webber, Hartley and Bernhard only managed a fifth place finish which was enough to secure the drivers’ honors; having recovered from a technical issue.
