Dovizioso wins MotoGP penultimate round to set up exciting finale

  The weather became a factor at the MotoGP Malaysian Round in Sepang, but the Riders’ title fight would go all the way to the finale in Valencia to determine the season’s Champion between Marc Marquez and Andrea Dovizioso. Dovizioso won the wet race of the penultimate round ahead of team mate Jorge Lorenzo and the Yamaha Tech 3 of Johann Zarco. Championship leader Marquez ended up fourth overall.

Dovizioso sprints to fifth win of the season at MotoGP Twin Ring Motegi

  The MotoGP at the Twin Ring Motegi saw Ducati front man Andrea Dovizioso score victory to get right back on track on his title bid. Dovizioso overcame Reigning CHampion Marc Marquez on the very last lap to claim the win. Marquez had led the race after taking over the lead from Satellite rider Danilo Petrucci, who ended third place. The two Suzuki riders of Andrea Iannone and Alex Rins finished fourth and fifth on Suzuki’s home Grand Prix.

Dovizioso scores 3rd win of season at Red Bull Ring

No one could have ever predicted this..Andrea Dovizioso would emerge victorious at the Austrian Grand Prix. It was Reigning Champion Marc Marquez who many thought would again capture the win, but it turned out the Ducati man was determined to beat Marquez at the final corner on the last lap of the race for the honor. Dovizioso edged Marquez by just 0.176 of a second at the finish line.

MotoGP heads for back-to-back race at Red Bull Ring

  Less than a week after the Czech Grand Prix, MotoGP heads to the Red Bull Ring this weekend for the Austrian GP. Last year the Spielberg circuit hosted its first MotoGP Grand Prix in nineteen years. The circuit was originally built in 1969 and was rebuilt in 1996 to the track-layout it still has today.

Dovizioso powers to the top of practice rankings at Brno

  MotoGP riders began the first day of work at the scenic Brno Circuit with the first practice sessions. Opening day of the Czech GP dawned under a steady rain, though with mild temperatures. The FP1 session was run on a full-wet track, while the second session was ran on better conditions as the track dried out. Riders were able to switch from wets to dry tyres for FP2, although the track was still a bit patchy in spots at the beginning of that session.

  MotoGP hits the mid-point of the season as the crews take on the Sachsenring Circuit, this weekend. Following an eventful weekend of racing in TT Assen, Ducati front man Andrea Dovizioso took the lead of the Championship thanks to a consistent race which he finished in fifth place. RIvals Vinales is second and Valentino Rossi third. Only 7 points separate the top three riders in the standings.

Dovizioso looks for a three-peat win at MotoGP Assen TT

  MotoGP crews return to action this weekend at the Assen TT in Netherlands, eighth round of the Championship and a MotoGP only event.The TT Assen Circuit was especially built for the Dutch GP in 1949 and has staged a round of the Motorcycle Championship every year since. The current Assen track measures 4.5km and is a favorite amongst riders thanks to its rapid change in directions, attractive mixture of high-speed and low-speed corners (six left and twelve right). After this Grand Prix, MotoGP will be on a four-week break.

Back-to-Back win for Dovizioso at MotoGP Catalunya

  The MotoGP Catalan Grand Prix saw Andrea Dovizioso win a back-to-back race, following an intense final stint with the Repsol Honda of Marc Marquez. For Dovisiozo, he now stands just seven points away from the lead of the Riders’ standings behind Maverick Vinales, who ended up tenth. Marquez and Pedrosa made it the third double-podium finish this season for Repsol Honda.
