The Porsche 919 Hybrid of Earl Bamber, Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley, the Le Mans winners, crossed the line first at the Circuit of The Americas, round six of the WEC.  2016 WEC COTA Porsche 919 Hybrid, Porsche Team: Timo Bernhard, Brendon Hartley, Mark Webber Reigning Champions Porsche WEC crew of Timo Bernhard, Brendon Hartley and Mark Webber captured victory at the sixth round; the 6-hour race COTA (Circuit of the Americas). It was the trio’s third win this season, having started from third position on the grid. Meanwhile coming from fifth on the grid, this year’s Le Mans winners and second Porsche 919 Hybrid crew of Romain Dumas, Neel Jani and Marc Lieb, experienced a rather mixed race in the United States, finishing fourth in the six-hour race. Dumas, Jani and Lieb, however, managed to maintain heir lead in the drivers’ standings, with 37.5 points from the best Audi trio.
