F1 Italian Grand Prix: Hamilton leads 1 – 2 finish at Monza

  No surprise at the Formula 1 World Championships, Italian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton led Valtteri Bottas to a 1 – 2 finish at Monza. Rivals Sebastien Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen were third and fifth in a race of attrition on the high-speed track. For Hamilton, it was his fourth win at the Italian circuit and sixth win of the season.

Hamilton on his way to a repeat title after clear cut F1 Italian GP victory

 2015 F1 Italian GP Lewis Hamilton after the race Everyone could have predicted that Lewis Hamilton would white-wash the grid for a repeat title, prior to the season’s start. And, Hamilton proves them right with the latest victory at the weekend’s F1 Italian Grand Prix. Hamilton’s 7th victory of the season, third at the Autodromo de Monza, marks the 40th win of his 160 GPs contested. The Briton did it on Ferrari’s home turf, beating Sebastien Vettel and Felipe Massa. Team mate Nico Rosberg suffered a blown power unit and was forced to retire near the end of the race.
