 2016 DTM Norisring Nico Müller race 2 An emotional Sunday for Nico Müller: in the second race at the Norisring, the Swiss scored his maiden DTM race win. Having started from third place, Müller took the lead on lap 43 following a perfect pit stop by his Team and defended this position until the finish. Race 1 was won by Audi’s Edoardo Mortara.

In the home races of their Ingolstadt based rivals, Audi, the Stuttgarters often prove to be the dominating force. Major victory for Robert Wickens at DTM Norisring

  Mercedes-Benz driver Robert Wickens crowned a perfect weekend of racing at Norisring with his first victory of the season. In slippery conditions at the 2.3 kilometers long street circuit, the Canadian converted his pole position in an undisputed lights-to-flag victory. Although the wet conditions once again favored the Stuttgart based squad,  Wickens managed to secure the marque’s twelfth victory in a row at Norisring.

The Plot thickens at DTM Norisring

  The DTM (Deutschen Tourenwagen Masters) at Norisring this weekend represents the fourth Round of the exciting Touring Cars Series. Norisring’s 2.3 kilometer racetrack is unique and extremely challenging, featuring tight corners with its crash barriers and walls to the left and right.
