Neuville wins nail-bitter at WRC Rally Argentina

  The WRC (World Rally Championship) Rally Argentina victory belonged to Hyundai WRT driver Thierry Neuville, who notched up his second win of the season after the Rally Tour de Corse. Neuville topped overnight leader Elfyn Evans by just 0.7 seconds in the final speed test to snatch the overall win. In the history of the WRC, only two rounds have been decided by a smaller margin.

Paddon hands Ogier and Volkswagen their first setback at WRC Rally Argentina

2016 WRC Rally Argentina Hayden Paddon leads Surprise! Surprise! Hyundai WRT have finally became the first team to prevent Volkswagen WRT from a rally win at last weekend’s Rally Argentina. Thanks to their rising rally star Hayden Paddon who dethroned Reigning Champion right down to the wire in the Power Stage for the victory. Hayden held a 30-second lead going into the final day’s program, but Ogier battled back strong to cut his lead to a mere 2.6 secs.

Citroen WRT snaps Volkswagen’s win streak with 1 – 2 finish at WRC Rally Argentina

 2015-WRC-Argentina-Kirs-Meeke_2 Citroen WRT (World Rally Team) managed to capture a surprising 1 – 2 finish at the WRC (World Rally Championship) Round 4 in Argentina. The 1 – 2 finish was courtesy of Kris Meeke and team mate Mads Østberg, who confirmed the 10th Rally Argentina victory and 29th 1 – 2 in the WRC for Citroen WRT. League leaders Volkswagen WRT were simply out of luck to counter Citroen WRT resurgence at the Argentine rally as the French squad snapped the WRC Champion’s seven-in-a-row victory and 20 podiums (19 wins) streak.
