  The WRC Rally Spain saw Kris Meeke take the win for Citroen WRT. Meeke finished ahead of Championship leader Sebastien Ogier and Ott Tanak. No luck for Hyundai crews Thierry Neuville, Andrea Mikkelsen and Dani Sordo as the drivers suffered suspension issues during the course of the rally.

 2016 WRC Rally Spain Sebastien Ogier shakedown The 2016 WRC Rally Spain has already begun at the outskirts of Barcelona, round 12 of fourteen of the Championship. Inspite of pouring rain, Volkswagen crews led by Reigning, third-time champion Sébastien Ogier finished in third place behind the privateer team of Ott Tänak in an M-Sport-Ford Feista by just 3.5 seconds.
