  At the onset of the weekend’s season opener, Yamaha MotoGP and 9-time Champion Valentino Rossi have reached an agreement to a 2-year contract. With the new contract, Rossi will remain a Yamaha rider for the 2019 and 2020 MotoGP seasons.

Rossi completes physical trials on the road to recovery

  Valentino Rossi began his return to racing at the Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Gerno di Lesmo, Italy, following an enduro accident on 31 August. Yamaha MotoGP conducted a two-day physical trials for the 9-time Champion to prepare for his return at this weekend’s  Grand Prix of Aragon.

  Yamaha MotoGP riders Valentino Rossi and new team mate Maverick Vinales made a stop at the Phillippines’ capital city of Manila most recently. The visit to the Phillippines followed after the Indonesian trip with a purpose of supporting Yamaha dealership in the designated South East Asian countries. While in Manila, Rossi and Vinales also attended a special racing activity, organized by Yamaha Motor Philippines Inc.
