Deemed the largest Supercars showroom in the region, the Naza Italia showroom houses and showcases some of the finest sportcars in the World including leading Italian marques; Ferrari and Maserati.
Officiated by Naza Group’s Joint Executive Chairman and CEO, SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin and Ferrari Asia Pacific’s top Executives, a relatively simple unveiling ceremony presented the Ferrari California to a host of invited guests and the media. At the first sight of the California, everyone swarmed around the immaculate white Ferrari California for the best photography shots.
Make no exceptions that the Ferrari California is one truly exceptional and innovative car for any motor head. Its philosophy takes inspiration from the spirit and emotions of one of the great Ferraris of the past, the 1957 250 California, a superbly elegant open top car designed for the track, which has, over the years, come to symbolize not only superior sportiness and performance but also exclusivity, craftsmanship and faultless sophistication.
The latest line-up to Ferrari’s 8-cylinder sports performance breed has the track written all over its DNA. It has intricacies to provide breathtaking driving, extreme versatility and in-car comfort.
What’s more… the Ferrari California is available as a convertible with retractable folding hard top in either a two-seater version with a traditional rear bench or in the 2+ version which sees the rear bench equipped with seating for one to two passengers.
Well-equipped with innovative features that spanned beyond its retractable hard top and the aforementioned original 2+ concept, the Ferrari California boasts a new direct injection V8 powerplant, a 7-speed gearbox with steering wheel-mounted F1-style paddles coupled with a new dual clutch, a new suspension system (double wishbones at the front and multilink at the rear), the new evolved F1-Trac traction control system and Brembo brakes with CCM (carbon ceramic material) discs.
On an additional note, the Ferrari California is said to flank the 12-cylinder flagship 612 Scaglietti in the Grand Tourer category.
Ferrari regards the Asia Pacific region as an important market as more than 1,000 Ferraris were sold in 2008. Naza Italia is committed to increasing Ferrari’s market share and enhancing the brand with various investments in terms of facilities, human capital and the various marketing programs to compliment the lifestyle of Ferrari owners in Malaysia. Among the marketing programs currently available include factory visits, Pilota courses, motor shows, and track days in Sepang international circuit.
The new Ferrari California is now available for viewing at the Naza Italia lifestyle centre from 10am to 6pm (Monday – Saturday) and from 11am to 4pm (Sunday) with a price tag starting from RM1.7million and above.
