A huge crowd and RX8 club members gathered in the forecourt of the Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel recently for the first Mega Mazda RX8 Club Malaysia get-together.
Vivid colours of silver, blue, red and white, black and yellow lined the streets and onlookers could not help to get a piece of the action at a once-in a lifeteme event to celebrate fluidity in motion and psychedelic spectrum of colours of the RX8 Club Malaysia.

Those familiar with bodykits and tuners found it a treasure trove as such names as; Mazdaspeed, AutoExe, Veilside, Fujita and others. These 'Mods' brands were found on almost all of the RX8s gathered there. Of course. several RX8s were beyond beautiful and had ample mods, but were futuristic and class acts.
The RX8 club convoy with over 80 cars ajorned to Putrajaya via the Mex Highway in an orderly fashion along the scenic roads of Putrajaya.
Upon arrival at Putrajaya, the 88 RX-8s converged at the Shangri-la Putrajaya, bettering the 2008 record of 54 units. The RX-8 Club brought a total of 10 foxy ladies to brighten the event with revealing yet tasteful clothes to taunt the imagination of rotary petrolheads. The highlights included competitions on exterior presentation, ICE and engine bay mods followed by a sumptuous lunch at Shangri-La, and a Dyno Challenge at the end of the day.
The event was organized by the RX-8 Club of Malaysia and sponsored by PrimaMerdu/Bermaz and other affiliated companies.
