Teams have been selected by the Championship based on their professional ability, approach, team capability and desire to represent the pinnacle of Drifting as a professional motorsport whilst meeting the requirements of the Championship.
The new strategy to limit the team numbers is based on increasing the awareness of high-end Drifting by professional teams who can concentrate their efforts on being in a limited number event to encourage sponsors, support and awareness for their passion, showcased at automotive events where those genuinely interested in all things motor car related gather.
