The new Mazda8's unveiling at the Midvalley Megamall in Kuala Lumpur today represents another milestone for Prima Merdu Sdn Bhd.(Franchise holder and Sole importer) and Bermaz Motor Sdn Bhd.(Sole distributor of Mazda vehicles) in the country's automotive industry.
The Mazda8 represents an entirely new design standard for MPVs, featuring dynamic sporty exterior motives, sophisticated styling, impeccable luxurious refinements on the inside and spacious interior arrangements.
The interior is a quiet oasis of bliss, spacious quality with a distinct air of refinement. Craftsmanship is evident everywhere in touches such as the sporty 3D blackout meters and the welcome lighting that gradually increases the blue toned meter graphics from the moment you open the door, and it reaches full illumination when the driver's on board. What follows from the moment the driver starts the car is a definite marvel as the red gauge needles light, heightening the anticipation of the drive. For your entertainment and navigation requirements, the Mazda8 is loaded with a Clarion DVD player and touch-screen navigational device, including reverse monitioring.

Electronic brake force distribution (EBD) is also standard, and maintains Mazda8's short stopping distances by varying brake force between the front and rear wheels according to the distribution of load and passengers.
