Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) has just introduced the Nissan Sentra tuned by IMPUL backed by popular 'modders' demands and Nissan motorheads in the country. The Sentra IMPUL version was first displayed at the recent Super GT Championship in Sepang Circuit mid-June. This latest Nissan 'mod' variant follows the footsteps of the initial Sylphy tuned by IMPUL which was a hit with Nissan enthusiasts a year and a half ago.
The Sentra tuned by IMPUL carries the legacy of ETCM's best selling Sedan range, the Sentra. It continues to hone its reputation as a reliable and versatile car. Already the fourth model to be tuned by Nissan;s dedicated tuning division - the IMPUL Motor Racing Development, the Sentra inherits the outlook and expectations of a modified vehicle.
“Since it was first introduced in Dec 2000 until May this year, we have over 47,000 units of Nissan Sentra on Malaysian roads. With the enhancements offered to the Sentra. We are able to provide a fresh and sporty appearance. As such, expect the sales momentum of the Sentra to continue through the years,” said Dato’ Dr Ang Bon Beng, Executive Director of Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd.
Here's what's inside the Sentra tuned by IMPUL:
1. IMPUL Complete Aerokit
The Sentra Tuned By Impul takes its sporty styling cues by adding a unique exterior treatment including front grille, front and rear bumper spoilers, side skirts and rear wing spoiler to create the Impul identity.
2. IMPUL Sports Suspension System
The IMPUL Sports Suspension System for Sentra lowers ride height by approximately 25mm to enhance its driving experience by improving overall grip and steering response for superior driving dynamics.
3. IMPUL Blast II Exhaust Muffler
A polished stainless steel exhaust muffler with an Impul logo etched on the tail pipe completes the overall appearance and offers sharper response with a sporty note.
4. 16” IMPUL FS-16 alloy wheel (Imported from Japan)
The standard 14-inch wheels are replaced by a lower profile 16-inch Impul FS-16 alloy wheels with a trendy bronze finish which further enhance the bold new look of the Nissan Sentra Tuned By Impul.
*All the other parts from Impul are localized in Malaysia.
The Sentra Impul version is available in manual and auto mode in either comfort or luxury edition, ranging from RM94,500.00 - 102,600.00 on-the-road prices with a 3-year or 100,000 km (whichever comes first) warranty.
