Yotaphone, Russian newcomer in the wide and wonderful world of Smart devices, today introduced the world’s first dual-screen, always-on smartphone. The smartphone, a brainchild of Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, made its international debut in December last year. |
Yotaphone has made it clear from the beginning that they intend to Rethink and Rebalance a Smartphone’s functionality. They’ve also made a bold claim about their smartphone with this remark – a brilliant phone idea that Apple and Samsung didn’t dream up!
The world’s first dual-screen (front and back screens), always-on smartphone from Yotaphone provides a whole new user experience, which literally means the smartphone is always connected and stays on all the time. Imagine your important information stays valid even after the battery had depleted, a comfy, longer reading experience on the phone with 58 – 68 hours battery life (7 – 10X better than other smartphones), and express yourself or your required items on the always-on smartphone.
The many firsts for the Yotaphone dual-screen, always-on smartphone include a combined SIM slot and power button, 6 antennas, first phone to use Corning curved Gorilla Glass and first with a long battery life of 58 – 68 hours on a 1800 mAh pack. New apps for the Yotaphone consist of PutzBack, Organiser, Internet Hub, TeachMe, Dynamic Wallpaper and more; these apps are optimized for the dual-screen Yotaphone. A 1280 X 720 resolution screen with 16.7 million is enabled on the main screen, while the back screen is on a 640 X 360 resolution.
The Yotaphone has a curved 4.3-inch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass and Graphite Film Thermo sensor. The battery is custom-built, and there are six antenna built into the frame of the smartphone. Over at the back, a Gorilla3 Glass front window is utilized for that always-on protocol. Still on Android 4.2.2, the Yotaphone might have a shot at a 4.4 upgrade, pending further notice. A relatively decent dual-core 1.7 Krait processor with an internal 2 GB RAM (32 GB eMMC) ensure good running of applications and decent storage space on the smartphone.
The Yotaphone dual-screen, always-on smartphone is pre-orderable for RM 1,699 with a free 4D3N trip to Bali, worth RM699, or at a flat rate of RM1,399 at its webpage, Yota.globalline.my.
